Ritual of Demonic Awakening
Written by an unknown author, the Ritual of Demonic Awakening was inscribed on a torn page recovered by the Arcane Hand and stored in the library at the Thaumaturgical Academy. Following The Battle of Nokkville, the spell (which had been stolen by Pitch and stored in his unholy grimoire) was transferred to the custody of the Righteous Order.
The Arcane Hand had studied this profane spell for several centuries in an attempt to understand the nature of evil. The Righteous Order was unaware of the existence of this spell, otherwise they would have demanded the surrender of the page much earlier.
Magical Effect #
The Spell of Demonic Awakening was a profane necromantic ritual designed to create a body out of mortal flesh before inviting a Demon's spirit into it, effectively circumventing the thousand-year reincarnation period that Demons were usually subjected to.
Uses #
The spell was enacted by Pitch during The Battle of Nokkville to reincarnate Ba'al.
